Critics Fear Atom Smasher could “Doom the Earth”

Now there’s a headline you don’t just pass up lightly.
Apparently, this August scientists in Switzerland are set to turn on what has been deemed ‘the largest science experiment in history.’ Some fear this may create such phenomena as elusive ‘dark energy’, extra dimensions in space, freakish little ‘killer particles’ or a black hole that could swallow the Earth. Obviously I know nothing about any of this. It is a very intriguing read nonetheless.

This morning I was a full twenty-eight minutes late to work, due to the closing of a portion of I-465 that I normally take to work. Apparently there was a major overnight accident involving several semis. Now the highway is covered in fritos, mayonnaise and Gatorade. Yikes!
I eventually found myself crawling at a snail’s pace along Girls School Road. This afforded me the opportunity to listen to 88.7’s weekday morning program “Symphonic Sunrise”. I finished Oliver the other night, and I would give it perhaps a 6 or 7 out of 10. It wasn’t great, but it was pretty good. It’s time to read something else; and if anyone has any good suggestions, let me know. There are a couple more passages I wanted to quote.
